Tours for visually-impaired visitors - in the museums of the Vatican



 Vatican Museums are trying to become more accessible to all who seek to learn more about the gems of the art world, who are represented there. In connection with this museum announced the decision to offer a series of educational tourism-oriented and visually impaired visitors. Thus, the Vatican Museums will join the National Museum in Cairo, Egypt, British Museum, as well as some others. In the state of exhibition centers like the Vatican Museums, there are qualified professionals who are ready to conduct tours, which combine verbal, tactile, auditory forms of communication, body language and sense of smell.

Visitors with hearing impairments are offered a choice of two tours with sign language, but now they are held only in Italian. Visually impaired and hearing-impaired visitors can also learn more about the collections of the Vatican Museums.
