Women's Pop Art, November 5 - February 20, Vienna
In Vienna Kunsthalle Museum opens new exhibit, which will showcase the work of nine artists, created in 1960-1970's pop-art closely associated with mass culture and mass media. Glasgow Boys, October 30 - January 23, London
the London Royal Academy exhibition, devoted to art post-impressionist painters of the union of Glasgow Boys. The exhibition features over 80 paintings, watercolors and pastels by John Lever, James Patterson, Arthur Melville, James Guthrie, William McGregor, Joseph Krouholla and other artists, created in 1880-1900 years. Pictures for the exhibition are collected from European museums and private collections.

Egyptian Book Dead, November 4 - 6 March, London
new exhibition devoted to the "prosperous transition to another world and a happy eternal life in survivors" in the representation of the ancient Egyptians, opens at the British Museum. Book of the Dead consists of 160 chapters and includes as poetic hymns, and short magic spells. The exhibition will feature amulets, funerary figurines, statues, papyri, and advanced interactive objects that allow to interpret the rituals associated with the transition of a deceased person in a different world. The exhibition is accompanied by lectures and film screenings on the history and culture of ancient Egypt.

Picasso: artist's books, November 25 - March 6, Munich
in May 2009 in Munich has opened a new museum of contemporary art, based on a collection of Udo Brandhorst - Museum Brandhorst. In late November, there will a temporary exhibition devoted to Pablo Picasso's book illustrations. This unexplored region of the artist, although in the period from 1905 to 1973, Picasso created 150 projects books. At the exhibition explores the issue of close artistic ties of authors and publishers with the artist, the problem is a combination of text and images. Visitors will see images of Picasso to the books of Max Jacob, Paul Eluard, Tristan Tzara, Pierre Reverdy.
