India - an amazing country! Just so began their tour all three of our guide from the company Megapolus. Initially, this phrase is perceived as nothing meaningful introduction. And then, on returning home, his usual routine of life, you begin to fully understand the meaning of these words.
India - a fairyland! In India wishes come true! The ones that you put forth at sunset, and those about whom you asked in the temple of Shiva. And even, perhaps, those that you put forth a simple example, accidentally biting the tail of the sharpest peppers, taking him for a pod of peas!
Be careful what you wish for, they can come true!
So our journey began with the Dabolim airport. After several laps of honor on him, we finally celi. Uncle in the form and stamp have been surprisingly fast, exchanged money, got our bags and - here it is India!
Charming Russian girl Alena in a blue shirt with badge Megapolus Tours in bus told us that those hut with no windows with palm leaves instead of roofs, those dumps in the vast thicket of ferns, they disintegrated fruit, closed, probably from the sun, old carpets - is the richest state of India - Goa. Moreover, it is the richest part of Goa - South! Living in Goa do not call themselves Indians and Goans, for them - almost by Europeans! Even the natives of other states to get here is not so easy!
«And this year the rainy season was delayed", - says Alina. Usually in November, has absolutely no rain. But it's even better, because by the nature of rain is now blooming and fragrant, and we can see such beautiful scenery outside the window, and if the rains come, and then only at night and long! "In India, the need for anything with a positive attitude - smiles, our guide. The rain has gone - well, do not go - even better! And so in all. Give your space a positive, and he returns it to you threefold. Such is the country - India!
There continues to Aline, the sort of thing - "Goa Syndrome". This is when the tourists who came to relax, prefer to stay here first for a week or longer, then two, and sometimes, that forever, burying his passport and remain in the sand! The entire bus together giggling, thinking it was an allegory of this. However, the planes fly from India to 20% less filled than fly ...
On the same day, at night, Alina came to us in a hotel that would tell you more to us about India and to answer our questions. Laid out before us a map of Goa, and told all that is needed for tourist: for shoppers - about the flea market on Wednesdays and about the state capital Panandzhi where you can buy pashmina, silver and tea. About the tour, about the South and North Goa, about the peculiarities of the local mentality, and even about how hard to connect to a local cellular service provider and the fact that soon the company will distribute Megapolus already working SIM cards to its tourists. In general, a lot of useful information.
Most in Aline, in addition to her knowledge, of course, we were struck by the correctness of her speech - well-staged, live, interesting. It was very pleasant to listen to her!
The day came Wednesday, and we went to the flea market tours Olga. After the already familiar "India - an amazing country!" Olga told us about that desire in India really do come true, and even has a real example from your life! All the way to Anjuna Olga told us about the peculiarities of the mentality of the local population. About the fact that the Indians because of their religion, good-natured and slow - they have nowhere to rush ahead of many reincarnations. About the fact that India has so many different nationalities and every so many dialects that even the Indians from different parts of the country do not always understand each other. Well, that is English! About how in India decided to bury people (very unusual ritual, ask Olga yourself when go to India!). About the fact that the groom/bride for son/daughter is still selected parents and the young do not even see each other before the wedding! Generally, from Olga, we learned many interesting facts about the contemporary social life in India. Upon arrival to the market Olga showed us - and where it is better to buy, as they haggle with certain vendors, and even helped us in the process of shopping as a translator.
So, with Olya enthusiasm led his story the whole trip (and the time it took more than an hour in one direction!), both trying to help, struck all of us - the second guide Megapolus Tours won our attention to his passion for the country, his knowledge, his amazing charisma! By the nature of what is picked up? At that time we did not know our third guide - Alain ...
Alena, we learned the so-called "Old Goa". In one day, we visited 4 of the temple - two Hindu and two Catholic, as well as the state capital - g.Panandzhi. Thanks to the boundless energy and a thick red hair haystack Allen gave the impression of a small local explosion. It was a great expert in the field of religion. All day she told me and Russ shows - about the many gods and their relationships, about the legends associated with them, about the symbols and traditions. All this is interspersed with historical facts, sparkling humor, and an indescribable personal charm makes us more and more interest. Alain showed us a Hindu temple, which usually does not lead tourists, she found it herself, and only shows their groups. Generally, it was evident that due to its dedication Alain independently researched many parts of the Old Goa, talked to lots of different people who have read a lot of literature, and now it all strive to show and tell your visitors.
interesting fact emerged when one girl in our group is slightly scratched on something. It turns out that in the bag with our guide has a special travel kit with all necessary first aid. First aid kits are issued to all the guides Megapolus. I do not know whether all of the company as a precaution, but such a concern for the tourists, of course, impresses!
Difficult to fully convey the impression of this soulful, exciting, rich excursions. Just know that if you went to Old Goa with Alena, you lucky!
After the last tour, our whole group to think hard - as it turns out that one company work are so different, but these are equally good, passionate guides. Can they really matched the character? Or just such wonderful educated and interesting people gather together, the very fate? Or karma? Whatever it was, we were very lucky with the trip to this truly wonderful and magical country! Thank you girls for your work!
