 According to the results of calculations made by the newspaper The Sun, motorists will spend a total of a year of his life, to find where to put the car. That is why the company Smartgrains released a free application for iPhone, which will find yourself free parking space in the city. Three engineers from Smartgrains taken as a basis for the development of the U.S. military. Vacancies are detected by special sensors installed in parking lots. The device checks the availability of transport in the parking lot and exchange information among themselves using radio signals in real time.

Thus, using the application ParkSense, owner of the smartphone will be able to find on the map of free space on those streets, which are fitted with transmitters. To some drivers are not headed for one parking space at the same time, the system indicates the degree of congestion of the selected area with color-coding - red and green. To date, this system is equipped with only the Paris suburb of Issy-les-Moulineaux (Issy-les-Moulineaux). It is expected that it will soon appear in the capital.
