Anglican Cathedral in Stountaune built on a former slave market. When construction work was still in full swing, the chief architect went to Tanganyika - on safari, leaving workers more detailed instructions and guidance. Imagine his surprise when, on returning, he saw a column near the entrance to the temple. Unattended black builders have installed all eight columns ... upside down! Alter anything it was too late, and the inverted column and stand for more than 130 years.
